I design and make modern macramé for your dog and home using only sustainable and recycled materials.

I care about protecting our planet while still producing those beautiful practical accessories for your dog and finishing touches to your home. I wanted to make handmade products that not only look beautiful and are long lasting but also doesn’t add to landfill waste and contribute to the mass throw away market. I have done many months of research to find the best environmentally friendly cord possible and support other small UK based companies where I can when sourcing my materials. So you can be assured if you purchase from me your product is as eco friendly as possible and with no single use plastic.

I didn’t find macramé until June 2020. I have a background in surface pattern design but my creativity faded when I moved to London and the crazy busy city life took over. I spent almost 7 years there until me and my husband took the plunge and moved at the end of 2019 to the country. I needed something to ease my anxiety that had been gradually getting worse, that's when searching online I came across the art of knotting, I gave macramé a go and was instantly hooked. Macramé is a very therapeutic craft that has helped ease and calm my mind, with this, yoga and copious amounts of tea it has been a great stress reliever from modern life. It has given me a free mind to be creative again and being surrounded by nature, I see the true effects of environmental damage and want to keep it protected for future generations to see. Green space is so important for mental health. I want to spread the word of how craft can help so I am working on new products that can help you too.

I started my home collection first as I wanted to create a range of homeware that helps you feel happy, safe and make an inviting place to be. It wasn't until January 2022 when we rescued a mini dachshund named Olive that my focus shifted and the business evolved. I was finding so many dog toys made from synthetic fibres that never lasted longer than a few days of play. The waste that is produced concerned me so I started to develop a range of dog toys that were dog safe and planet friendly. Hemp is a great natural material for this and it got me thinking about all the other accessories we buy for our dogs. This has led to the making of practical, long lasting yet beautiful handmade leads, collars, poop bag holders and more, while keeping the environment at the forefront.

I believe if everyone can make a small change then big things can happen.
